The collage community stands for Una Gildea (www.unagildea.com), a collage artist from Dublin. Recently the property adjoined to her home was Illegaly demolished. Una thought that when the builders moved in to 18 O’Donovan Road, Dublin 8, that they would just demolish a small one-storey extension, as set out in planning permission. Instead, they proceeded to knock down the whole house, leaving her home both damaged and exposed. We are trying to up the media/social media attention on this in order to keep pressure on Dublin City Council. We support Una and all communities that help Dublin to KEEP its identity, historical character and heritageto.
