 First of all, I want to thank Lane, Rob and Taher, that organized this festival. And now about Berlin. My life is full of adventure, so my collage also traveled with adventure. My collages traveled twice. The first time through the mail, but did not reach the gallery, because in some mystical way postman in Berlin postoffice didn’t find my collages even online was showing that it is in postoffice . So after lying for four weeks in Berlin postoffice its finally returned safely back to me, just on time, when left just four days till Festival opening!!!!!! I wanna say special thanks to Taher, I was going crazy all this four week about my collage and probably I made him crazy too, about questioning every day :
-Is it already came? -Is it already came? I also sent a second collage, but it also returned back to me. So probably there was some reason, just that I have to deliver by myself this collage and be part of this opening. There was no time to think how to take part in the exhibition I just knew that I had to be there. It's fun, that we can travel quickly, comfortably and cheaply by bus in Europe. So I had bought a bus ticket and jumped on the evening and in the morning I was already in Berlin. And knocked on the door to the gallery. The Gallery was small but very cozy and warm, also and the owners. So I finally met Taher, hung my collage and then I run out to explore Berlin before the evening opening. Thanks again Taher for recommendations. Opening of the exhibition was great, of course, as always, there was some delays, but after all, this is normal, for artists and their fans time does not exist. So finally I met in real life some my online collage groups artist and it was really nice. I think the idea of organizing this Festival was really grate, because you can finally see what is behind the cut and paste curtain. The grate opportunity to become familiar with collage artist and to get a closer look to their work and talk, share some ideas. I met warm and cool people. We are all different, but have one thing in common - making collages. I was sad just for one thing, that on the same evening I have to catch my bus and go back to Lithuania, so I miss after party.
